A Conversation on Process
Featuring Professors Pippin, Taylor, Emert, and Cozzens
Thursday, March 6, 1:00-2:00 pm in Dalton Gallery
Senior Art Majors will lead a group discussion with the participants of the third annual showing thinking exhibition in Dalton Gallery. The third in a series of exhibitions on this theme, showing thinking provides an opportunity for four faculty from education, English, religious studies, and studio art to assemble and articulate their individual, creative processes. The very notion of this exhibition is provocative and radical: it asks the participants to be vulnerable and potentially to expose incomplete ideas, scattered and collected thoughts, unfinished works, and unexpected inspirations as they delve into and bring out the methods and spaces through and in which their thinking, creating, revising, refining happens. Process and practice, in multiple senses, shape this exhibition.
This event is free and open to the public. Reception to follow.
The Dalton Gallery is located in the Dana Fine Arts Building on the corner of S. McDonough and E. Dougherty Streets. Parking is available one block north in the parking deck on S. McDonough Street, just south of College Avenue. Street parking is also available.
