Teaching and Scholarly Interests
Professor Wolfe is a subject matter expert in health policy, health educational initiatives, and social and behavioral sciences. His research investigates the core causes and consequences of unnatural health differences influenced by social dynamics and policies. This work uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to address questions of environmental characteristics, policy, and opportunities for fundamental changes to highlight meaningful strategies to promote optimal health in local, national, and global spheres. Results from his work inform strategies toward fundamental changes to healthcare workplaces and education that can improve patient outcomes. His work has been featured in public policy initiatives, education campaigns, psychological intervention programs, and professional programming. In addition to his research, Professor Wolfe is a leader in organizations including the American Sociological Association and UAID Community Projects.
