Part-time Instructor in Public Health

The Agnes Scott College Department of Public Health is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Principles of Epidemiology in the fall of 2017. The successful applicant will have a minimum of a master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) and preferably have a Ph.D. or be ABD in a Ph.D. program. Candidates will also be asked to provide evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level.

This course covers the scope of epidemiology: design, planning and analysis in epidemiologic research, design strategies, measurement of exposure, measuring disease occurrence, statistical association and causality, and epidemiological study designs. It meets twice a week (currently scheduled for Tuesday/Thursday 8:30-9:45). Instructors are also expected to hold weekly office hours.
