Institutional Research and Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Research & Effectiveness (OIRE) supports policy formation, strategic planning, decision making, and institutional assessment through the collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data and intelligence about the college's students, faculty, staff, alumnae, courses, curriculum, finances and other relevant topics.

How well are we achieving our mission and goals?

Our mission at Agnes Scott College is to educate women to think deeply, live honorably and engage the intellectual and social challenges of their times. We are deeply committed to this mission as it describes our founding purpose and foremost organizational commitment and focus.

The effectiveness of the college depends on the contribution that each of its programs and services makes towards achieving the mission and goals. Our office works with campus partners to lead, strengthen, and document institutional effectiveness at Agnes Scott.
