You're deciding where you will land for the next four years of your academic career; you're searching for your place, for a community, for a deeper sense of self. If we sound excited, it's because just by choosing to apply to Agnes Scott College, you were already halfway home. And now we have chosen you...

You who desire to be not just a number on a college campus, but a leader in your own right, with a voice that deserves acknowledgement and ideas that will effect change. Can't see it yet? Not to worry, future Scottie; we can! Things may look a bit differently at the moment due to the pandemic, and your journey to this decision may have taken a different kind of path than those Scotties who came before you, one perhaps filled with uncertainties and unforeseen barriers. We applaud you for your strength and resiliency during this time, and for the courage to continue pursuing your dreams in the face of adversity - the stuff that Scotties are made of!

Congratulations on your acceptance to Agnes Scott College.

By enrolling here, you are investing in more than a college degree; you are investing in your potential - a potential that can only be realized among extraordinary faculty, who are just as much mentor as professor, in a setting nationally recognized for top undergraduate teaching; under a curriculum painstakingly designed with you in mind, one that gives you the world and the tools to know what to do with it; and amidst a supportive, diverse campus community that sticks with you long after graduation has come and gone. Many would call this "family;" we call this Agnes Scott.

Welcome home!

A Beautiful Community I Thrive In

Katherine '23, Neuroscience major

"One of the many reasons I joined Agnes Scott was because of the community. On move-in day, I remember my dad was astounded that I was running across campus greeting Scotties whom I had already been talking to for months online! I love when I walk to class and know faces passing me by; Agnes has given me a beautiful community that I thrive in."

An Experience that has Broadened My Horizons

Mya '22, Psychology major

"The resources available to me at Agnes Scott, on and off campus, have led to, among other things, a position on Honor Court as the Class of 2022 representative and an internship that corresponds with my major. These accomplishments have broadened my horizons, provided me greater self-confidence, and renewed my trust in my ability to lead."
