Social innovators share one thing - a strong desire to solve a social problem, sometimes through unconventional methods to affect positive social change. These social entrepreneurs make an impact by building solutions to such issues as food deserts, education inequality, inaccessible healthcare, unaffordable housing, and unsustainable environmental practices, among others.
Graduate students in this program will learn the theories and principles necessary to innovate as entrepreneurs and business owners, or through careers in nonprofit organizations, socially responsible businesses, or government agencies.
