How do parents participate in orientation?
Orientation helps new students and their families become acquainted with college resources, traditions and facilities while making new friends and exploring the Decatur and Atlanta area. In addition to helping your daughter move into her residence hall, parents should feel free to ask questions, learn about college policies and meet faculty and staff during orientation.

Some activities include Breakfast with the President, informative panels with your daughter's adviser, the Academic Department Fair, campus tours and the Welcome to Decatur gathering. Parents and families are also invited to attend the important Honor Court Reception and Pledge Signing when all first-year students affirm their promise to uphold Agnes Scott's Honor Code.
