Library Employment & Internships

Student Employment

During the first two weeks of the semester, McCain Library hires students eligible for federal work-study positions. Students may assist at the Circulation Desk, in Archives and the Noble Heritage Center, in the Interlibrary Loan and Technical Services unit, or at the Research Help Desk.

All open work-study positions will be posted through Handshake. Only students eligible for work-study will be able to apply. Please email accessservices@agnesscott.edu  with any questions.

Staff and Librarian Employment

There are no open library positions at this time. For other opportunities at the college, check here

Internships/Volunteer Opportunities

McCain Library will consider requests to intern (as a volunteer or through the Office of Internship & Career Development perhaps with an Agnes Advantage Award), depending on the staff’s workload and ability to provide adequate supervision and a meaningful experience.

Priority will be given to Agnes Scott College students and alumnae. Please email expressions of interest to library@agnesscott.edu.
