Strategic Communication Curriculum

In this graduate program, you'll tailor your education to your unique interests and career goals by adding a stackable certificate or through a customized concentration. No GRE needed to apply.

Stackable Certificate

We offer a stackable certificates in Advocacy and Public Engagement, Data Analysis, and Health Communication that you can add along the way, allowing you to obtain your master's degree and a graduate certificate in this specialization.

Customized Concentration

We understand that everyone has individual academic interests. You have the option to work directly with the faculty director or your advisor to design a customized concentration from the electives offered based on your professional goals.

Instruction Methods and Class Meetings

Complete this program fully online with a blend of synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Each class meets together once a week in the evening as follows 75 minutes, Monday through Thursday.

Master of Science

Our master of science program requires 12 classes (36-credit hours) to complete. Students enrolled in 2-3 classes a semester can complete their degree within 18 months.

Students pursuing a Master of Science in Strategic Communication will complete five core courses, six electives, and submit a required digital portfolio of original work during their last semester.
