SUMMIT Medals
Develop your leadership and global learning skills even further by earning a SUMMIT medal.
The SUMMIT Medal augments the global learning or leadership development skills honed in Legacy, LDR 101, GBL 102/103 and SCALE with additional experiential learning and coursework in Leadership Studies. As you progress towards earning your medal, you participate in exclusive programs and events on and off campus and acquire the tools you need to tell your individualized story of success.
What you need to do to earn a SUMMIT Medal
Students interested in earning a SUMMIT Medal must complete a combination of four curricular and co-curricular experiences beyond the required SUMMIT global learning and leadership development curriculum and submit a reflection statement demonstrating their additional leadership development. Students should consult with their advisors about suitable courses and experiences, and the applications must be submitted no later than by the end of the last semester before the semester of graduation.
